Your "Time of the Month" and Breastfeeding

by Amy Brown
(Burlington, ON, CA)

Breastfeeding Tips: I noticed after a few months when my menstrual cycle came back, even though it was sporadic it did affect the way I felt about breastfeeding. It was more painful and it seemed to decrease my supply. The decrease in supply made my daughter nurse more often and it was annoying :) for lack of better words because it hurt.

I just had to remember it was only temporary! Just get through a few days and it would be back to normal, and it always was.
