Visitor Breast Pump Review:
I used the Lansinoh Double Electric Pump. I loved this pump. I did not have an electric pump with my first child, and I wish I had. I will never go back to a manual pump, as I was unable to pump much milk with them.
You can adjust the speed and suction so that you can figure out what your body reacts best to, which was wonderful for me, and it’s not an issue to change speed or suction during the pumping session.
I found it quite easy to hold one pump to one breast, and have the other pump held by the arm of the hand holding the other pump so that I had one hand free, though if I have any more children I think I will purchase a hands free pumping bra. There was a bit of noise while pumping, but it was not what I would consider too loud. I was able to pump while my infant and toddler were sleeping without disturbing them. I found this pump easy enough to clean and I loved that it came with replacement pieces and also that the bottles included to catch the milk were standard so I had a wide variety of nipples to choose from and could just use those bottles, or choose to use another brand of bottle to catch the milk as well.
