Evenflo Electric Breast Pump
My name is Heather. I have two little boys, both breastfed.
I breastfed my first for a full year (he’s now 2 1/2), and my baby is 8 months old (still nursing).
The breast pump that I have is an Evenflo Electric Breast Pump. This is a great pump to use every once in awhile. However, I wouldn’t use it as an everyday pump.
Pros:
-It’s very compact, and it has a handy little carrying case.
-It comes with a bottle that you can pump directly into and then just screw on the nipple and pop it in the fridge until ready to use.
-It’s very easy to use. Not a lot of complicated instructions.
-It’s pretty inexpensive (about $40.00)
Cons:
-It can be very uncomfortable, you can’t control the suction power. (you can only control how fast it pumps)
-You can only pump one breast at a time. (not a dual pumping system)
-Parts aren’t sold separately…if you lose one or it gets broken, you have to buy a whole new pump. (the pump, however is relatively inexpensive)
-Not for large-breasted women. It can be painful. The collection cups are pretty small.
I used this pump probably only 5 or 6 times. I don’t work, and didn’t need a heavy-duty pumping system, so this worked fine for me.
